Text: Joshua 1:8 “This Book of the Law shall not depart from your mouth, but you shall meditate in it day and night, that you may observe to do according to all that is written in it. For then you will make your way prosperous, and then you will have good success.” (NKJV).

As we wrap up the first month of the year,  I want to call our attention to what it is that will determine our success this new year. Joshua tried this principle after he took over the leadership from Moses and he was successful. What does the Lord command us to do in this text? This book of the law shall not depart from your mouth but you shall meditate day and night” so it’s not enough to read it or meditate just at night or in the morning but you have to read it, say it continuously, act it, hide it in your heart until it becomes a Rhema to you. Everything you need in this life is wrapped up in this book and when you keep saying it even when it seems nothing is happening just keep at it. I assure that in a short while you will be amazed at what the Lord will do in you and through you.  So I encourage you today to try this same principle and I guarantee you will never remain the same

Prayer Point: Father I pray for the grace to keep confessing and meditating your word until it becomes a Rhema to me in Jesus name. Amen
