Matthew 9: 23-26: When Jesus came into the ruler’s house, and saw the flute players and the noisy crowd wailing, He said to them, “Make room, for the girl is not dead, but sleeping.” And they ridiculed Him. But when the crowd was put outside, He went in and took her by the hand, and the girl arose. And the report of this went out into all that land (NKJV).

This is the first time Christ raised up the dead and probably the residents had not experienced this miracle, so their reaction was that of mockery. However, that didn’t deter Christ; he put the crowd outside and then he raised the dead child. If we must end gloriously this year we must close our ears to noise and follow the master. We must be willing to do what he says even when it seems foolish to the human eyes because the bible tells us that God uses the foolish things to confound the wise. I pray we‘ll yield to God’s plan for our life so that we can end well. God bless you.

Prayer Point: Lord you know the best plan for my life, I ask that you lead and direct me so that I may finish well in Jesus’ name Amen
